Frequently Asked

What does "Intaba" mean?

Intaba is the Xhosa word for “mountain”. Our founder spent a year in South Africa working with Living Hope Community Center. Intaba pays tribute to the impact everyone had that year on his direction and vision for redemptive business. It also captures the mountaintop experiences that we want to provide through coaching. s.

What is the ICF and CCNI?

ICF stands for International Coaching Federation and CCNI stands for Christian Coaches Network International. Both provide credentials within the coaching field and have a code of ethics that we abide by. Every coach with Intaba is trained or training toward credentials within these two organizations. When you work with Intaba, you can be confident that boundaries are in place and the coaches are trained.

How often do I schedule a session?

Sessions are scheduled for a minimum of one quarter at a time. We will determine the exact amount of sessions after our first meeting so that we can customize it to your needs. Typically, this is one to three meetings per month and either 30 or 45 minutes per session. In between sessions, you can briefly contact your coach by e-mail, text, or phone when necessary. We are here to help you reach your goals and will customize a program that gives you the best mountaintop experience possible.

Is coaching confidential?

All documents, projects, or conversations shared with our coaches are strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party without your consent. The only exception to this is a subpoena. If a statement of serious threat of harm is made by the client, whether directed at the client himself/herself or towards someone else, we are obligated to release that information, including the Client’s name and the nature of the threat to proper authorities.

How much does coaching cost?

Set up an exploratory call with us and we will come up with a program that best fits your needs. Pricing changes based on how often you want to meet and for how long as well as if you pay quarterly, etc. We are confident we can put a package together that is both reasonable and impactful for you.
